All about me
Hello everyone! I would like to introduce myself, I am Hahna Jemari Marapao. You can call me Hahna or Jemari, but some of my friends and family members are calling me jemjem because they said that it was cute. I am 18 years old and currently a grade 12 student from Malate Catholic School. After I graduate senior highschool, I would like to pursue accounting or culinary. I like to pursue accounting because I want to discover and enhance my skills when it comes to mathematics. On the other hand, I’d like to take culinary courses because at home, I like cooking and I am enjoying it. Someday when I get to work, I want something that I am passionate about. My hobbies are playing volleyball, listening to music, watching movies and series. I love playing volleyball because it helps me unite with other players and I know that I am good with it. While listening to music makes me calm, it seems that the lyrics can express what I am feeling. I enjoy watching movies, especially when I am with my friends, there are some times that horror movies make us laugh. Also, I love watching series because it is more exciting and I gain more knowledge. My Father is working abroad, while my Mother is a housewife she takes care of us. I have a brother and he is 8 years older than me. Currently, I am with my cousin because they’re on a vacation after 3 years. I enjoy being with them. They are the closest cousins that I have and I love how they treat me as their little sister.
One of my favorite songs is from Taylor Swift titled, “you belong with me”. This is one of my favorites because I first heard this song when I was I think 7 years old. I love how she is writing songs that many people, especially teens can relate to what she is singing.
I love and enjoy playing volleyball because the rules here are easy.
During my grade school years specifically grade 6 and grade 5, I was a member of volleyball varsity. Those days brought so much experience to me because we get to compete with other schools. There are times that we won which is very enjoyable, but games and tournaments aren't just all about winning. We also experienced losing. Before entering tournaments, we would go into hardships by attending our training sessions which are also enjoyable and fun.
